2010 was our tenth anniversary year, and this past August 27-29 was our best festival ever.  We had well-known jazz musicians from all over the United States, Arizona, and many of our own local musicians performing at Courthouse Plaza, The Hassayampa Inn, Hotel St. Michael and The Ruth Street Theater at Prescott High School.  The Prescott High School Jazz Ensemble actually opened our Gala Concert on Saturday night.   We had jazz fans from at least 8 states come to Prescott for our festival and we want to bring even more out of state tourists to our area in the future. 

In keeping with our dedication to music education, we had musical groups make assembly presentations in four elementary schools in Prescott, at no charge to the schools.   These mini-concerts were very well received by the students, parents and faculty alike at every school.

2011 will be even bigger and better and we need your help to make our festival happen.   As with symphony orchestras, festivals, and other non-profit corporations, we can't pay the bills on ticket sales alone.   We hope you will see fit to become a sponsor for our 2011 festival and for all the educational programs we are planning to present to our young people.  We are sponsored by Friends of Big Band Jazz, a 501c3 Non Profit Corporation, so your sponsorships are tax deductable.
